I teach first grade in South Carolina and tutor several students after school and in the summer.  I loved the first grade files so much I have also ordered the kindergarten files because I tutor both ages. It is wonderful having all this reading info right here on my computer!  I plan to use lots of the worksheets and techniques in my first grade classroom in the fall.  My favorite files have been the alphabet characters and the vowel pictures The artwork is just precious and so very child appealing!
You get TONS of materials for a very very reasonable price.

I have showed your vocabulary lists to 2 schools and will present it to an area SAC meeting tonight. I am a homeschooling mother of two. I use the Consonant worksheets with my preschooler. Her understanding of phonic sounds has blossomed since we have begun using your worksheets. My 5 year old (she's supposed to be in Kindergarten but is doing First Grade work) is using the vocabulary lessons as well as the vowel sound worksheets. I just wanted to let you know how your reading techniques have helped my first graders and their reading. I am following your suggestions and word lists. They are great! My class is reading much better than this time last year. They especially like the timed reading of the word lists. The other first grade teachers are now wanting to use your web site. This is the first time I have ordered anything on the internet and have been well pleased with how everything has been handled. I teach at Oakland Elementary in Oakland, TN. Once again, thank you for all your research on reading. Yesterday one of my non-readers (there are two) sounded out a word by himself for the first time and today read an entire sentence. I am using the sound out to the vowel method.
