If you have downloaded one of our files and it appears as a mix of "non-sense" characters and symbols
or states problems with color then you'll need to download the appropriate viewer.

All the reading files on TampaReads.com and ReadingKey.com have been written in Microsoft Word
and Adobe Acrobat Version 4.0.  Therefore, in order to view these files you must have
installed on your computer either Microsoft Word (not Word Pad) or Adobe Acrobat Version 4.0 for PDF files.

If you don't have either of these programs don't worry, simply download the viewer from the link below
and you'll be all set to go.  If you are not sure if you have MIcrosoft Word then
download our test page from this link. - download shouldn't take longer than 30 seconds.

Download time is approximately 10 minutes for either viewer
using a standard 56K modem.
DSL and Cable connections can download in under a minute.

After downloading the file,
go back to folder where it was downloaded and install it
by double-clicking on the Viewer Icon.
You can then open any of our reading files and they should look great!!
